Rehab, my brother is violent and aggressive when on drugs?
He continues to face court and continues to get fines serving time wont help him it just introduces him to fellow dealers and users, my mother has written to the judge requesting rehab or help with his violent behaviour the law does not seem to listen and continues to slap him on the wrist, I fear he will hurt himself or someone else if he does not get the help he needs is there a missing link in the system our family have tried all kinds of avenues to help him but we have run out of faith and resources.
I am sorry that your family and your brother are going through this. It is unfortunate, whatever happened to him to enhance such behavior. The best thing I could suggest is that if he is locked up behind bars somewhere, try to find a counselor or someone knowledgable that can visit in him there and talk to him.
There is an underlying problem here that has nothing to do with the drugs – he started doing that for a reason… and once someone breaks through that wall he can get the help he needs. The law does not care what is behind that wall – it’s up to your family to get the help to him
