On Amy winehouse’s new single “rehab” does she use the “wall of sound” technique?
Just recently reading about phil spektor’s wall of sound mastering and listening to rehab it has that distinctive 60’s sound and was wondering if this was why. originally i thought it was about equipment and maybe some sort of digital recreation, but i am wondering if this is how it’s done.
Yes, it does have that “wall of sound”, but most music nowadays utilizes it in some form or fashion.
