Is there a guide for visually impaired people on finding one’s way about in unfamiliar places?
I’m partially sighted and it takes me a very long time to get used to new places. Usually I have to constantly ask passers by, eg how to find my hotel when staying abroad. But even then I still get lost and it often takes me ages to find it.
I can cope with lasrge print or audio. My local authority is not interested in providing me with a rehab worker so such a guide would be useful.
Get in touch with blind organizations. They will be able to give you the information that you are wanting.
