A question about medical necessity/emergency and lack of insurance, and a pressing neurological problem.?
When I was six months old, I had a shunt installed in my head due to hydrocephallus. Twice in my life before it had acted it and had to be replaced. Both of those times I was very young. That last time I had any problems with it was over 30 years ago. Now I think I’m having problems again, I’m experiencing the same symptoms, bizarre headaches, nausea, vomiting, but this time, I have no insurance. I need a neurologist and possibly a neurosurgeon, but how do I get one? I pay my bills. What should I do?
I hope you find the help you need you sound like a honest and responsible person,when I read your plight it makes me think of the congressmen,senators and other public servants who have tremendous health care with no co-payment,when we the people go without health care.
