
am i on the right track to go to a highly competitive college program at usc?
im going to be a freshman this year
i have a 770 for verbal sat
and 720 for writing
and i didnt take the math.
i volunteer at the LAC + USC hospital
I work at USC health admn. and knows the CEO personally
I am going to take level 10 piano CM (I DIDNDT DO ANY COMPETITIONS) ![]()
I am in Freestyle 4 for ice skating and going to competitiong
i have swum everysince i was 5 and going varsity
im in marching banc and concert band and play oboe and have a 4.0 ( i know, its onyl middle school)
i am in the CTY talent search thing for john hopkins
i have been admitted to Cal State LA for a early acceptance program.
i have done color pencil art since i was 5 also, and have won a city competition.

what can i do to make my resume stronger?
I assume you realize that nothing you have done before freshman year can be used toward college admissions, but obviously the fact that you have been involved in many activities will give you a leg up on being involved in activities in the future. So right now, you are a blank slate. Obviously, if you continue to do as well in high school as you did in middle school, you should succeed. But you do need to keep it up, because it is only what you do from this point forward which will count.
