I do not have health insurance. I found a lump in my breast the other day?

Because the health insurance on my job is so expensive, I do not have it because it will be half of my check. Is there any way I can go to a clinic that does not cost so much? I live in Illinois

Most major cities have a free clinic, check your local yellow pages.
Also check your local American Cancer Society or Breast Cancer Awareness centers for possible free screenings.
You could go to an urgent care or just a primary doctor to at least rule some things out and pay out of pocket…the part that will cost alot of money is the testing, probably a mammogram.
Wonder how old you are? Any history of breast cancer? Some females just have fibrocystic breasts (naturally lumpy) or depending on your cycle, breasts will appear and feel more lumps at particular times.
This is your health, and having to make small payments for a long time is much better than not knowing the answer to the lump and being able to seek treatment in worse case or have peace of mind in best case
