whats a nurses opinion on a drug rehab center?

its for coursework and i have to represent the views of a nurse in a debate about a drugs rehab center!
the center is near a school and i must considerate to other points of view but i must get my opinions across clearly and make the audiance think!
any ideas?

why should it be allowed?

A rehab center does work. But it is like anything else, it is up to the addict to want the help, accept the help, and do whatever it takes to get clean. As they say ….one day at a time. Some have to do it an hour at a time, some in minutes. It doesn’t matter what their addiction is…..they are the ones that have to go the distance to get it. It does help if they have family members willing to help. Anything is hard , if you have to go it alone. That is where the higher power comes in. Hope I helped.
