a licensed insurance agent. Has anyone taken the exams (I’ll be taking them in NJ) and if yes, how hard were the tests? What should I focus my studying on?

The tests can be very difficult because of the way the questions are asked. Many of the questions will state “all the answers are correct EXCEPT”. Make sure you understand what the question is asking.

If you can pass the practice tests with a nearly perfect score you’ll be OK. You should study those tests and not only know why the correct answer is correct but also why the incorrect answers are incorrect. The exam is pulled from a pool of thousands of questions so no two exams are the same.
